A GovWin IQ alternative for small businesses
GovWin IQ, built by Deltek, is a well-known market-intelligence platform for government contractors: analyst-sourced coverage of US Federal, state and local (SLED) and Canadian opportunities, built for business-development teams that track contracts years before they are bid. It is not aimed at a one- or two-person company deciding whether to spend $19 a month on a tool, and its own site makes that clear by never mentioning a price.

What GovWin IQ is built for
Deltek's own GovWin IQ federal product page describes a research operation, not a search tool: it cites 150+ industry-recognized analysts producing the intelligence, says 75% of leads are posted before they reach SAM.gov on average, and claims 55% of total federal awards in 2025 went to GovWin IQ users. The page covers three markets by name: US Federal, SLED, and Canada, plus tracking of program delays, modifications, cancellations and vehicle changes sourced directly from agencies.
That is a genuinely different product from a self-serve matching tool: it is built around analyst research and long-range capture planning, the kind of early-warning intelligence a prime contractor's business-development team uses to shape a bid a year or more before it is published.
Why it does not fit most small businesses
GovWin IQ's own pages list feature tiers (Essentials, Professional, Advanced) but no dollar price anywhere. Every path to buying it is the same: a demo request form, then a sales conversation to build a custom quote around which markets, how many seats and which add-on modules you want. There is no plan a solo contractor can see and buy in five minutes.
That sales-led model makes sense for a firm with a dedicated capture team evaluating a multi-year, multi-market subscription. It is a poor fit for a small business that wants to know today, without a call, whether a tool is affordable.
What Bidstage costs and covers instead
Bidstage publishes its price on its own pricing page, no demo required: Solo is $19 a month ($190 a year) with one capability profile, two regions and 10 AI-drafted responses a month; Team is $49 a month ($490 a year) with three profiles, every region, 50 AI drafts a month and three seats. Both carry a 7-day money-back guarantee.
Bidstage reads TED (the EU's tender database), the UK's Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, SAM.gov Contract Opportunities in the US, CanadaBuys in Canada, and World Bank procurement notices, matching each open tender against a profile built from a company's own website.

Questions
Does GovWin IQ publish its pricing?
No. Deltek's own GovWin IQ pages list feature tiers but no dollar amount anywhere; every purchase starts with a demo request and a sales conversation.
Does Bidstage cover the same markets as GovWin IQ?
Only partly. GovWin IQ's own site names US Federal, SLED (state and local) and Canada. Bidstage reads TED (EU), the UK's Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, SAM.gov (US federal), CanadaBuys and World Bank notices — it does not ingest US state or local agency sources the way GovWin IQ does.
Is Bidstage a replacement for GovWin IQ's analyst research?
No. GovWin IQ sells analyst-written market intelligence and years-ahead capture tracking. Bidstage matches your profile against open tenders already published on official portals and scores the fit — a narrower, cheaper job aimed at a different buyer.
